Berlin can accommodate groups of 20 to well over 1,000 people. The city’s strengths are particularly evident with large groups of 500 or more, with an infrastructure of over 400 venues and around 140,000 hotel beds capable of handling even complex logistics. Locations such as Estrel Berlin (6,000 people) or the Velodrom (12,000 people) are designed for large groups.

Most incentive trips to Berlin last between two and four days. For evening-only formats, such as a reward dinner or private guided tour, one day is enough. For programmes involving international travel, three to four days are recommended to allow enough time for the itinerary, relaxation and experiencing the city.

Costs depend on group size, duration, venue, programme, transfers and catering. Compared with many European capitals, Berlin is considered a cost-efficient event destination. The Berlin Convention Office can help you find your bearings.

Berlin offers over 400 venues, including conference hotels, event centres and event venues. Specific examples for large groups include Estrel Berlin, Tempodrom, CityCube and the bcc Berlin Congress Center. There are also palaces, industrial heritage sites, restaurants and off-locations for programmes away from traditional conference hotels.
