On 9 May 2024, the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Riccardo Muti, will be performing at the Waldbühne in Berlin for the first time in history!

Under the title "A European Night", the world-famous orchestra will perform selected works by European composers to mark the Year of Europe 2024.

Pieces from the most beautiful compositions in European music history will be performed, such as the overture to Giuseppe Verdi's "La Forza del Destino", the suite from Manuel de Falla's ballet "The Tricorn" and Emmanuel Chabrier's rhapsody "España".

On the official Europe Day, which stands for peace and freedom in Europe, the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra expresses the ideals of peace, humanity and reconciliation, with which music is inextricably linked, at the Waldbühne in Berlin.
