The FOSSGIS conference will take place from March 15-18, 2023 at Humboldt University in the Erwin Schrödinger Center in Berlin-Adlershof. The aim of FOSSGIS is to disseminate Free and Open Source Software for Geoinformation Systems (GIS) as well as Open Data, for example OpenStreetMap.

At the FOSSGIS users, developers and interested people exchange information. From Wednesday to Friday there will be exciting presentations about the latest developments in the GIS and Open Data area.

Topics like digital sovereignty, open science, FAIR principles and public tenders with FOSS will be discussed, workshops can be booked or user meetings can be attended.

On Saturday, March 18, the OSM Saturday will take place from 9:30 to 17:30 in the form of an Unconference.
