World Championship and Olympic Qualification in Archery
Great news for all archery fans: The 2023 World Archery Championships will take place in Berlin from 31 July to 6 August on the Maifeld at the Olympic Stadium and on OLympischer Platz.
The World Archery Federation (WA) has decided that the World Archery Championship will be held in Berlin for the second time.
The world's best archers will compete against each other in the German capital and provide the audience with an exciting final weekend.
The historic Maifeld right next to the Olympic Stadium has established itself as a venue for international archery competitions since 1979 and is popular among archers as a challenging competition venue. It covers 112,000 m2, so 96 competition targets and another 60 training targets can be placed.
Directly in front of the Olympic Stadium, on the Olympic Square, which will become the final stadium, the decisions will be made from 4 to 6 August in front of up to 1,500 spectators.
