Meetings and events that are accessible to wheelchair users and other people with disabilities are increasingly in demand within the event industry. Berlin is playing a leading role when it co...
Berlin is an active city! Plan your event in a special sports location or combine your meeting with a visit to a sports event. Or get active yourself: at a sporting team event in the capital. We'll tell you where, when, and how you can get a sweat on in Berlin...
Whether sailing, archery or adventure climbing; whether football, basketball or ice hockey; whether a racetrack, stadium or amusement park - Berlin puts movement into meetings, incentives, and congresses. The sports metropolis attracts event planners to the grandstand, amusement parks, high ropes courses, lakes, and world-famous sports facilities. So it's ready, steady, go...
Berlin's Olympic Stadium has more history behind it than almost any other event location in Germany. The events that are held here are right at a place of records and moving events. From a meeting at the track where sprinter Usain Bolt set a world record, a meeting in the team lounge, or a major event under the Olympic Tower - your event is sure to be a winner.
With its futuristic design, its self-supporting steel roof that is exceptional in Europe, and a capacity for up to 10,000 people, the Velodrom is a unique venue for events, meetings, and congresses. It is famous for sports highlights such as Berlin's six-day race, motocross and equestrian tournaments and, as part of the Europa Sportpark, is centrally located in the trendy district of Prenzlauer Berg.
Speaking of equestrian tournaments: As a sports and event venue, the Rennbahn Hoppegarten is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year. The listed building is not only the oldest and largest sports facility in the capital, but also a true institution in Berlin. 250,000 square metres with options for several events on one day make this original Berlin site an extraordinary venue in the capital.
The historic municipal bath Oderberger also manages to turn a cathedral-like swimming pool into a venue for conferences, seminars, meetings, and congresses in an extraordinary way. Beside the hotel, bar and restaurant, the pool of the historic bath on the GLS Campus becomes an event area in the middle of the trendy Prenzlauer Berg district in no time at all.
At the foot of Prenzlauer Berg, right next to the former Berlin Wall, is the city's largest beach. With 54 beach volleyball courts, several event areas, and the most modern inner-city high ropes course, the event location BeachMitte combines not only sports with meetings and events, but also Berlin history with a very modern city flair.
There is one language that everyone understands: sports. Whether cheering, having fun, or taking part - joint activity connects people. It is no wonder, then, that sporting incentives are at the top of the corporate and event planning programmes at conferences and events. Let your team literally pull together. For example, in the team high ropes course, mega rafting for large groups, or team sailing between Wannsee and Havel.
Encourage skill and team spirit in stunt training, archery, or when acquiring an agent diploma. Use your (laughing) muscles with stand-up paddling, ice stick shooting (even in summer!), on a bicycle tour, or in the kite boat. Have a unique event experience with survival training. The capital's incentive partners have the right offer for every season and every group size.
If you don't want to sweat in Berlin, you can also watch the professional athletes at their best at any time: in sports highlights such as the European Championships in Athletics and the DFB Cup Final, the BMW Berlin Marathon and the ISTAF - the most famous and traditional German athletics meeting. Groups and companies are also always welcome at a game in Berlin's top clubs. Combine your event in Berlin with a visit to a tournament by Hertha BSC or the 1st FC Union Berlin. Or guarantee your guests a unique experience at a game with the Berlin Eisbären, ALBA Berlin, or the Füchse.
