20 years for sustainability
BESONDEREN ORTE sets standards for sustainable venues and events. Our journey began over 20 years ago with pioneering steps such as the use of 100% electricity from renewable energy sources, the provision of organic juice and fair-trade coffee. As pioneers, our venues were the first in Germany to receive the demanding EMAS certification in 2012. We are also the first company in the event industry to commit to the German Sustainability Code. We are also proud to be the first to qualify as a partner of Sustainable Berlin and to rank among the top 3 in the industry for the German Sustainability Award.
Our aim is to combine entrepreneurial action with sustainability. We are convinced that ecology, social issues and economy are inextricably linked. For us, more than 20 years in favour of sustainability are an expression of our ongoing commitment to a sustainable future.
