IMEX in Frankfurt will continue to be one of the most important international trade fairs for the event industry in 2026. On 9 July, the “Berlin X NRW” format will invite event planners from North Rhine-Westphalia and beyond to Cologne to discover Berlin as a congress and meeting destination. At Rheinloft, guests can look forward to space for dialogue, networking and fresh inspiration. Alongside the Berlin Convention Office, 13 partners from Berlin’s hotel sector will be accompanying the event.

In June, the Berlin Convention Office, together with 15 partners from across the city and visitBerlin Partnerhotels e.V., is organising a FAM trip for eleven MICE agencies from the United Kingdom. The aim is to reinforce Berlin’s position as a leading destination for business meetings and congresses. The programme includes site inspections, tours of tourist attractions and an evening networking event.

In October 2026, the MICE industry will gather at IMEX America in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Berlin Convention Office team will also be there, available to assist event organisers with the planning and implementation of business meetings, congresses, galas and trade fairs in Berlin.

The flagship event of the ibtm events series, IBTM World, attracts the international MICE community to Barcelona every year.
