Salon Babette
Event location
Salon Babette, once part of the iconic shop buildings of the 1960s and designed by star architect Josef Kaiser, is now a versatile event location in the heart of Mitte.
Originally designed as a beauty salon, the glass box on Karl-Marx-Allee has been a bar with regular service and a flexible space for product presentations, workshops and private dinners since 2019.
The salon offers space for up to 100 guests on two floors, while the summery outdoor area is ideal for relaxed BBQs or stylish champagne receptions.
A unique venue for special events - modern, steeped in history and right in the centre of vibrant Berlin.
Commitment to sustainability
Regional. Sustainable. Authentic.
At Salon Babette, we focus on products that reflect our values: Regionality and sustainability.
We serve Viva con Agua for a good cause, our beer comes fresh from Berlin brewing kettles and our wines come from selected wineries in Germany's easternmost wine region - the picturesque Saale-Unstrut valley.
We also make a difference in everyday life: we support education and hygiene projects with gold bucket toilet paper, and thanks to fritz-kola's ‘Drink from glass’ initiative, we remain plastic-free.
As a certified ‘High Performer’ by Sustainable Berlin, we stand for responsible hospitality.
