On the Alternatives Berlin bike tour you will experience three lively, colorful and international districts of Berlin. We start in the rather chic Prenzlauer Berg, cycle through trendy Friedrichshain and on to alternative Kreuzberg. Together we will explore three Berlin districts that are constantly evolving and decisively shape Berlin's dynamic image. In the process, we also take a look back at recent history: In the once gray and dilapidated Prenzlauer Berg, resistance to the GDR was particularly active. In post-reunification Berlin, the struggle continued, now against gentrification and the accompanying displacement of residents.
