20 years for sustainability
BESONDEREN ORTE sets standards when it comes to sustainable venues and events. Our journey began over 20 years ago with pioneering steps such as using 100% electricity from renewable energy sources, offering organic juice and fair-trade coffee. As pioneers, our venues were the first in Germany to receive the demanding EMAS certification in 2012. We are also the first company in the event industry to commit to the German Sustainability Code. We are also proud to be the first to qualify as a Sustainable Partner Berlin.
Our aim is to combine entrepreneurial action and sustainability. We believe that ecology, social responsibility and economy belong together. For us, 20 years of sustainability are an expression of our ongoing commitment to a sustainable future.

    EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) is an EU environmental management scheme that helps companies systematically improve their environmental performance. EMAS-validated companies analyse and optimise their environmental impacts, reduce emissions and resource consumption and document their progress in an environmental statement.

  • ISO 14001

    ISO 14001 is the international standard for environmental management systems.
