Sustainability
Sustainable commitment
The Berlin Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK Berlin), owner and operator of the Ludwig Erhard Haus, set out in 2020 to formulate a sustainability strategy and specify its sustainability management. The approach, goals and progress are summarised in the sustainability report.
Criteria for sustainable event management are implemented when organising events. Among other things, the guidelines for the sustainable organisation of events issued by the Federal Environment Agency (UBA) and the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) are used as a basis for this.
