Berlin’s second-largest conference hotel MOA Berlin becomes an independent brand

MOA Berlin, the city’s second-largest conference hotel, has been operating as an independent brand since mid-January. With its repositioning as a hybrid "Urban Hub", the venue is reinforcing its role in Berlin’s congress and events market.

Its departure from the Accor franchise at the start of the year was a strategic decision by the owning company. The aim is to fully harness the potential of its Berlin-Moabit location and develop its offerings with greater flexibility. With the newly developed brand vision "Congress, Kiez & Culture", the venue is positioning its "MOA" Convention Center as a hybrid space across 7,500 square metres for congresses, business events and urban encounters – combining international congress business with strong local roots.

This development is highly relevant for Berlin as a meeting destination. As a major conference hotel, MOA Berlin can now adapt its offerings independently to meet market demands. The clear focus on congresses, business events and local engagement further enriches the diversity of Berlin’s trade fair and events landscape.
