A Visual Respite at the Grand Hyatt Berlin
Incentive
With its contemporary art and modern architecture, the Grand Hyatt Berlin is considered the art hotel of Berlin. Since its opening in 1998, the art collection has been steadily expanded and now comprises more than 150 works by over 26 different artists. A very special eye-catcher is the blue frame, designed by the artist Gerold Miller, which already inspires the guests to discuss it when they enter the hotel lobby. With this work Miller questioned the traditional concept of art and invites the viewer not to look at the middle of a work of art as usual, but much more at the edge.
