Space for Big Ideas

It’s no surprise: Berlin's event halls have long provided space for ambitious visions. As one of Europe’s top destinations for congresses and conferences, Berlin impresses with its vast venues capable of hosting thousands of guests. Whether it’s a congress, conference, gala or trade fair – Berlin offers a wide range of XXL locations perfect for large-scale gatherings.

From arenas to convention centres, Berlin's large-scale venues stand out not only for their architectural uniqueness but also for their central locations and excellent accessibility. When it comes to finding a suitable venue for events with more than 3,000 participants, Germany’s capital is truly exceptional – not least thanks to the Berlin Hotel Charter.

Berlin Hotel Charter – New Standards for Efficient Large-Scale Events

The Berlin Hotel Charter is a joint initiative by Berlin’s hotel industry, the Berlin Convention Office of visitBerlin, the Governing Mayor, and the Senate Department for Economic Affairs. It offers organisers of large congresses a transparent and standardised framework for booking, billing and planning. It streamlines collaboration with Berlin hotels through guaranteed capacities, unified terms and conditions, and efficient negotiation processes. For event planners, this means more clarity, reliability and efficiency when organising large-scale events – while strengthening Berlin’s position on the international meetings market.
