Discover the Berlin design festival
Berlin Design Week has become one of Europe's leading design festivals since its inception in 2021. The event was born out of a desire to fill the void left by the DMY festival, which ended in 2016, and to celebrate Berlin's status as a UNESCO City of Design.
Its interdisciplinary approach combines visual communication, product design, architecture, urban planning and more. Each year, the event addresses new focal points, making it a dynamic space for creative exchange. Participants range from emerging designers to established brands, research institutions and universities, all contributing to a rich and diverse programme.
