How MEET+CHANGE creates events with impact

MEET+CHANGE brings meetings to social venues in Berlin – from workshops to cultural centres. The result? Purpose-driven events that inspire teams and make a difference to society.

In this image, many people can be seen attending an event.

Berlin offers more than venues – it offers impact.

Imagine this: your next workshop isn’t held in a seminar hotel, but in an inclusive workshop for people with disabilities. Or in a cultural centre that also serves as a meeting place for refugees. That’s exactly what MEET+CHANGE enables – spaces that combine local engagement with social value.

What makes it special: your event supports local social organisations – through bookings, donations in kind or simply raising awareness. At the same time, your teams gain real-life insights far removed from typical conference settings. With the MEET+CHANGE format, the Berlin Convention Office of visitBerlin transforms traditional meetings into inspiring encounters.

For our internal workshop, we booked an inclusive workshop via MEET+CHANGE. The venue, the concept, the atmosphere – everything was exceptional. It wasn’t just productive, it was also deeply moving. We’ll definitely be back.

Five venues. Five stories. One goal.

Berlin is known for its diversity – and that extends to the unique venues offered by MEET & CHANGE. The programme opens up places that are visible in the cityscape but have remained hidden from the MICE industry. Each venue tells its own story – and becomes part of your event.

Integrative Werkstatt Pankow

Integrative Werkstatt Berlin-Pankow offers meeting rooms for up to 30 people in a sustainable, socially minded setting. Each event supports an inclusion project that opens up new opportunities through training and skills development. Around 300 people benefit from a wide range of educational and employment options in fields such as metalworking, printing, gardening, domestic services and office support.

Begegnungsstätte Reinickendorf

Since 2007, the multi-generation house Berlin-Reinickendorf has been fostering social cohesion with initiatives for all age groups. Its spacious grounds host integration guides, neighbourhood mothers, the Partnership for Democracy, a nursery, a literacy programme, and a women’s and girls’ centre. By holding your event at this MEET+CHANGE venue, you support the local social projects and actively contribute to greater social sustainability.

Interkulturelles Zentrum Ulme 35

The Interkulturelles Zentrum Ulme 35, located in the heritage-listed former "Westend" sanatorium, offers an open space for dialogue, exchange and civic engagement – particularly for refugees and the local community. Since 2017, this French country-style building has operated as an intercultural neighbourhood centre, providing a hub for both long-standing and newly arrived Berliners.

Camera Obscura Boat

More than just a venue, this boat is a floating Camera Obscura and part of the non-profit organisation Moving Camera, which uses art and photography as tools for social change. The boat offers two light-filled rooms for meetings, workshops or creative sessions with up to 20 people. By hosting your event aboard the Camera Obscura Boat, you help support children and young people through creative educational projects focused on photography and visual media.

Kulturzentrum Prenzlauer Berg

Since 2017, this cultural centre in the Mühlenkiez neighbourhood of Prenzlauer Berg has been a vibrant community hub. Located in a former East German supermarket, it brings people of all ages together for inclusive art, culture and neighbourhood projects – from woodwork and textile workshops to dance teas, language cafés and community gardens. The hall is a welcoming space for all, promoting diversity, civic participation and sustainable neighbourhood networks. By hosting your event in this MEET+CHANGE venue, you support cultural initiatives and actively strengthen social cohesion.
