FEMALE FUTURE FORCE Day - BE BOLD
What does it mean to be bold?
In every country, in every culture, courage takes on different forms, is defined in different ways. In Iran, it’s the outspoken demand for freedom. In Afghanistan, it’s the tireless fight for education. In Sudan, it’s resistance against oppression and violence. In Russia, it’s standing up for one’s own beliefs.
In Germany, we grapple with equality and equal opportunities. In France, Gisèle Pelicot showed immense courage by testifying against her abusers after years of violence – sparking an international conversation about sexualised violence.
At the FFF Day 2025 at the bcc Berlin, we celebrate the courage to stand up for human rights and democracy. We want to create space for the many facets of courage – around the world and in individual lives. Together, we will explore how courage reveals itself in different contexts, how privilege shapes our understanding of it, and the impact courage can have.
Under the theme “Be bold”, we honour those who break boundaries and drive change. Look forward to inspiring keynotes, international voices and powerful encounters that make courage visible and tangible.
