Vienna Science Days Berlin 2024
The cities of Vienna and Berlin want to intensify their cooperation at the Vienna Science Days. On November 27 and 28, 2024, representatives of the city administrations, experts from municipal companies and renowned universities in both cities will come together to discuss current and future challenges of urban development.
The conference days offer a platform for the exchange of innovative approaches and solutions that promote sustainability and progress in urban spaces.
The "Science Day" highlights topics such as cooperation between the city and universities and "digital humanism". After inspiring keynotes, experts from Vienna and Berlin will discuss key challenges on panels.
On "Vienna Day" on November 28, the focus will be on the cities' decarbonization strategies and deep geothermal energy. Wien Energie will present the current status of the geothermal project in Vienna. Possible joint projects will also be discussed in breakout sessions.
Knowledge and technology transfer plays a key role in sustainably securing and improving the quality of life of city residents.
