Classical music: orchestra for all?
The German Orchestra Day (DOT for short) is considered the industry meeting place in Germany and the entire D-A-CH region. The conference for orchestras, management and the music industry attracts around 200 participants from culture, business, politics and administration every year.
Classical music - orchestra for all?
Saturday, 17 May
Participation in these formats free of charge & independent of the conference, registration required
Our partners OPAS and 442plus each offer a full-day user workshop.
Think.Stage - Research meets practice: An entertaining format to round off the day or to get in the mood for the conference at the interface between research and orchestra management.
Sunday, 18 May & Monday, 19 May
At our conference, we will focus primarily on the major topic of transformation and break it down together into individual "fields of application" such as digitalisation, sustainability, self-image in urban society and also: thinking and acting in synergies.
We critically scrutinise our attitude to excellence & quality, to classism in audiences and staff.
