On our Berlin Wall bike tour you will learn the historical background behind the German division, get insights into everyday life in the GDR, hear stories of escape attempts and much more. Starting from the site of the opening of the Wall in 1989 at the former Bornholmer Strasse border crossing, we follow the former course of the border to the government district. On the way, you will learn more about the harassment at the former border crossings, we will visit the Mauerpark with its famous Sunday flea market, tell you about the dramatic tunnel escapes and window jumps in Bernauer Strasse and show you the exact layout of the death strip including the border guard tower at the Berlin Wall Memorial.
On our Berlin Wall bike tour, you'll explore part of the route of the former Berlin Wall and learn the fascinating and tragic stories behind the division. This includes well-maintained bikes, helmets and entertaining, carefully trained guides. We can organize events with up to 350 participants* and deliver the bikes to the meeting or event location upon request. We are happy to provide e-bikes for participants who would like assistance and can arrange rickshaws for participants who cannot cycle. We are happy to customize routes to meet the individual needs of the group and advise on gastro stops and events during the tour.
