Magazin in der Heeresbäckerei

Event location

The former Heeresbäckerei (army bakery) serves as an impressive and overall ensemble of a well-preserved example of the industrial architecture of the 19th century. Over the centuries the brick building has remained completely intact in its architectural substance. The buildings originate from a renovation and construction phase after a fire in 1890. Cast iron columns support a five-meter high canopy ceiling, red beech parquet flooring and round arch windows open the magnificent hall of light. The magazine/warehouse was redeveloped under consideration of its history and the equipment upgraded.
