SNI2022

Large-scale facilities for basic scientific research are an essential part of the German research infrastructure. With the framework program "Exploration of Universe and Matter" (ErUM), the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) therefore aims to continuously increase the performance and broaden the use-driven range of applications of large-scale natural science facilities.

SNI2022 provides a forum for presenting the latest findings obtained at the large-scale facilities - often using instrumentation set up as part of ErUM. The focus is on contributions to solving major societal challenges. The conference provides a forum for the exchange of ideas, the further networking of methods and activities, and the stimulation of new focal points. In particular, young scientists will be given a forum to present their results.
