45th German Hypertension Congress

  • Congresses
First things first: a special situation requires new thinking. The 45th German Hypertension Congress will take place as a hybrid congress. So you can participate both in presence, but also online. For our face-to-face event we have a 2G standard and a hygiene concept, through which a safe event is guaranteed.

We conduct the congress together with the Society for Arterial Vascular Stiffness D-A-CH (DeGAG) and in cooperation with the German Society for Internal Medicine (DGIM).

We have put together a program for you that reflects the intersection of the professional societies on the topics of hypertension and end organ damage, cardiovascular risk and prevention. This results in a very current and broad internal medicine spectrum and does justice to the special role of hypertension as an internal medicine cross-sectional subject.

A key topic will be the opportunities and challenges of digital medicine. We want to discuss current developments in digital medicine with concrete applications, apps and wearables, but also take a critical look at systemic aspects and aspects of care with regard to the effects for patients and physicians.

Other focal points include a critical discussion of guidelines and standards of blood pressure measurement, central blood pressure, cardiorenal syndrome, aldosterone and mineralocorticoid receptor, as well as hypertension and heart failure. Of course, the latest aspects on Covid-19 will also be covered.

Attendance at the Hypertension Congress will be recognized for recertification as a hypertensiologist DHL.

Together with you, we are looking forward to interesting and eventful congress days - in Berlin or on your home screen!
