Twice a year, Berlin becomes an international stage for fashion and lifestyle. The next Fashion Week take places from 15 to 18 January, when fashion enthusiasts, buyers and trade visitors will gather again in Berlin to see the latest trends and collections from nationally known designers, best-selling brands and up-and-coming talents.
Fashion Week is an established fixtureSince 2007, the latest trends have been presented at Berlin Fashion Week, where enthusiasts can be inspired by the latest trends at the biggest fashion event in the German-speaking world. Naturally, the highlights are the fashion shows by the top designers. In January 2019 there will be two catwalks. You can visit the Berlin Fashion Salon and the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week (MBFW). There are also eight fashion shows with different themes. These cover casual wear for men and women, streetwear for skaters, street culture and urban trends, sustainable fashion, children’s fashion and avant-garde. There’s also a retail shop where you can buy the latest designer items. At the FashionSustain conference, representatives of sustainable fashion will meet to present and discuss innovative developments. At the same time, fashion-related events such as receptions, presentations (showrooms) and after-show parties will take place.

What you need to know about Berlin Fashion Week
The events take place at various well-known locations in Berlin. At the Brandenburg Gate you can visit the MBFW. We recommend watching the live video on the forecourt of the venue. The Berliner Mode Salon takes place near the Humboldt University in the Kronprinzenpalais. If you’re a trade visitor, you can view the latest commercial collections at Station Berlin. We recommend the show right next door in the Kühlhaus, where there are six floors of the latest designer items for you to buy. The lifestyle products of the SEEK trade fair are presented at the Arena Berlin in Treptow. Simultaneously at the same venue, the Bright Tradeshow shows all the latest trends in streetwear and board sports. Centrally located, Kraftwerk Berlin hosts the attractive Neonyt fair, where the latest innovations in sustainable fashion are presented. All the venues are easy to reach by U-Bahn and S-Bahn trains. Regular parking spaces are available for those arriving by car.
The events start between 9 a.m. and 12 a.m. and end between 9 p.m. and midnight. Many of the Berlin Fashion Week events are only open to invited guests. Other events require prior registration, accreditation or an entrance fee.
